Vijay worked with a lot of analysis and reporting software for Towers Perrin. His daily activities included assisting principals and analysts with their spreadsheets and technical reviews, using MoSes and TAS (Tillinghast Actuarial Software) to analyze and report life and annuity insurance products. His Actuarial Science classes prepared him very well for this internship.
Vijay spent a lot of time preparing the Towers Perrin Guaranteed Minimum Withdrawal Benefit Pricing and Hedging Survey of ten different carriers. He was glad to stay in Philadelphia and his co-workers made for a pleasant working atmosphere. Though he does wish that they offered a more detailed Proprietary Software Training Process. He would absolutely recommend this company to other students.
