ACCT Philly
The Sigma Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma’s Charity of Choice for the 2022-2023 academic year is the Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia, ACCT Philly. The facility is the region’s largest animal care and control service provider, serving the City of Philadelphia by contract. They offer adoption, foster, and volunteer programs, as well as owner surrender prevention resources. ACCT Philly takes in nearly 18,000 animals annually, from dogs and cats, to small animals, reptiles, birds and wildlife.
This year will mark the first year that the Sigma Chapter has supported ACCT Philly. Your donations will supply food and toys for the animals; support the adoption, placement, and surrender prevention programs; and provide initial and preventive medical exams. The Sigma Chapter looks forward to reaching its donation goal and getting involved at the facility.
If you are interested in donating to ACCT Philly, please Venmo @sigmachapter. The payment description should consist of your email and 'Charity of Choice'.
We need your support for the 2022-2023 academic year! Please consider donating via our Venmo @SigmaChapter or support by purchasing snacks at Wednesday meetings.
Every dollar counts!
