The Temple University Broad Street Run Team is looking for runners to join our team and our cause. All students, alumni, faculty, and friends of Temple University are welcome to join our team. Our team is running to support the Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia, ACCT Philly. The facility is the region’s largest animal care and control service provider, serving the City of Philadelphia. 
They offer adoption, foster, and volunteer programs, as well as owner surrender prevention resources. ACCT Philly takes in nearly 18,000 animals annually, from dogs and cats, to small animals, reptiles, birds and wildlife. 
 
This year will mark the first year that the Sigma Chapter has supported ACCT Philly. The Sigma Chapter looks forward to reaching its donation goal and getting involved at the facility. 

Registration for the race begins Wednesday, February 1st, 2023 on the official Broad Street Run website. Registration will close on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at 11:59 PM.

Membership on our team costs $20 for students and $30 for alumni, faculty, and friends of Temple University, all of which goes directly to our fundraising efforts for the Gift of Life Family House. Membership includes a Temple University Broad Street Run Shirt donated by Ivory Ella, bib pickup, transportation to the start of the race, and a barbecue afterwards with the Temple University Police Department. You will need to register for the Broad Street Run lottery (click here), and, if you are rejected from the lottery, we can assist you with your registration for an additional $10 donation.
