I created a tool using data from CMS to provide insights to clients on cost to charge ratio by provider.
What were the supplemental benefits besides the pay?
The company organized activities for interns throughout the summer, ranging from welcome party, intern luncheon with the CEO, happy hour, and the goodbye party at the end of the summer.
Describe the company's internship program.
Everyone at Maiden was very friendly with the interns and was willing to sit down and answer any question we may have about the company or about the work. My manager checked in on me a few times a day to answer any questions I had and sometimes took me out for lunch with other managers from other functions. I was assigned work that pushed me to learned more about the topic and new technical skills.
Was the internship what you expected after the interviewing/hiring process?
Yes, my manager was very clear about his expectations and the projects he had in mind for me during my interview process.
Were you provided time off besides the weekend?
No PTO, but I was allowed some unpaid time off to study for my exam.
