Performed data analysis and programming tasks on large amounts of industrial data using Excel, R and VBA.
Did you have a mentor?

Guided me through each of their products and business processes. Helped me advancing my technical skills and knowledge about the actuarial field.
Did you feel your RMI/AS classes better prepared you for the internship?

Streamlining the process of creating loss triangles by consolidating over 500 Excel workbooks into a single R database. What were the supplemental benefits besides the pay?
Internship lunches + Visit to the headquarters + Spending a day volunteering at an animal rescue shelter.

Robust program involved working efficiently with the available resources. Working with different departments to complete projects. Friendly and approachable employees, who were really invested in your professional growth and development.

Business Casual and can wear jeans to work. Open floor plan with no private offices. Very interactive with coworkers.
