In support of your efforts in recruiting actuarial talent, the Department of Risk, Actuarial Science and Legal Studies and Gamma Iota Sigma - Sigma Chapter at Temple University's Fox School of Business are pleased to invite you to our Fall 2023 Actuarial Science Career Reception. The event is planned for our actuarial science graduating seniors, actuarial science graduating MS in Actuarial Science students (December 2023 and May 2024), and actuarial science summer intern candidates (Summer 2024). There will be 50 – 70 actuarial science majors at the reception. Please note that there will be no risk management students in attendance.

The Diamond Sponsor Registration ($750) entitles your organization to one table for two attendees at the career reception and a link to our resume book for Risk Management and Insurance interns. The resume book link will be sent prior to the event.

- Additional Table – Companies requesting an additional table for up to two attendees will be notified by Thursday, September 14 if we can accommodate the request. The fee for an additional table for up to two attendees is $250.

- Thursday, September 21, 2023– Actuarial Science Career Reception is for actuarial science majors seeking internships in summer 2024 and full-time positions.
- Thursday, October 19, 2023 – Risk Management and Insurance Graduating Senior Career Reception will focus on our December 2023 and May 2024 graduating seniors in risk management and insurance.
- Thursday, February 22, 2024 - Risk Management and Insurance Intern Career Reception is for risk management and insurance majors seeking internships in Summer 2024.
New this year:
- Registration will close when we reach our maximum of 25 employers or on Friday, September 1, 2023; whichever comes first.
- Employers that are unable to attend the September 21, 2023 Actuarial Science Career Reception OR those organizations that prefer to recruit both actuarial science and risk management and insurance majors together, may register for the Thursday, October 19, 2023 career reception. We anticipate a limited number of actuarial science majors, who are still seeking internships in summer 2024 and full-time positions, will be in attendance. The invitation for the October 19, 2023 career reception will be sent in mid-August.

Your contribution of $750 will place you as a Diamond Sponsor in the resume book. Please note that there is a separate registration fee for each of the three career receptions organized by the Sigma Chapter during an academic year. Additionally, the full registration fee of $750 is applicable each year.
