One of the benefits of being a member of Gamma Iota Sigma is inclusion in our resume book, which is sent to employers every semester. In order to be included in the resume book, attend the internship or career receptions, and interview through the Department of Risk, Actuarial Science, and Legal Studies, Gamma Iota Sigma members must complete the following steps in the prescribed order in accordance to their major and class standing.

​In order to be included in the Resume Book and attend the Risk Management & Insurance Graduating Senior Reception, Risk Management & Insurance Intern Reception, and/or the Actuarial Science Reception, you must do the following: 
Step 0. Do the following while completing the other steps in order
  •  Take a Professional Portrait
  • Complete a Handshake Profile
​Step 1. Participation in an Interview Skills Workshop (sponsored by Gamma Iota Sigma) and an Etiquette Workshop
  • After your Interview Skills Workshop, Submit a Gamma Iota Resume through the online Resume Generator
Step 2. Complete a Mock Interview and a Resume Review
  • After your Resume Review, the PD Team will email you the most recent copy of your resume
  • This is your last chance to check your resume before the reception
  • You must respond to this email regardless, either confirming that is is final or with changes​​
Step 3. Attendance at the “How to Prepare for a Career Reception Workshop" the day before the reception.
