The Department of Risk, Actuarial Science and Legal Studies and Gamma Iota Sigma - Sigma
Chapter at Temple University's Fox School of Business are pleased to share dates for our 2024 –
2025 in-person career receptions.

On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, we will host the combined Fall 2024 Actuarial Science and Risk
Management and Insurance Career Reception. This event is for the following:

•  Actuarial Science graduating seniors, graduating MS students (December 2024 and May 2025) and summer intern candidates (Summer 2025) 
• Risk Management and Insurance graduating seniors (December 2024 and May 2025) and a small number of summer intern candidates (Summer 2025)

The Spring 2025 Risk Management and Insurance Intern Career Reception will be held on
Thursday, February 20, 2025. The event is for our Risk Management and Insurance intern
candidates. There will be no Actuarial Science students or Risk Management and Insurance
graduating senior candidates in attendance.

Companies that participated in the 2023 - 2024 career receptions will have the opportunity to
register early. Once the early registration deadline has passed, the invitation will be shared with
all employer partners. Early registration will begin the last week of August for the Fall 2024
Actuarial Science and Risk Management and Insurance Career Reception and the second week
of January for the Spring 2025 Risk Management and Insurance Intern Career Reception.
