Lester re-joined Willis in September 2012 as an Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer for the North American Human Capital Practice. In this role Lester will focus on assisting the field offices with key sale opportunities, client retention efforts, sales training, business development and recruiting. He will work closely with the regional Growth Team to ensure local delivery of our "Beyond Benefits" value proposition.

This is a homecoming for Lester as he was a part of the Willis family for 7 years. During this time he was a Top 5 Consultant within the Human Capital Practice and was a consistent qualifier for the Exceptional Producers Council. His track record as an extremely talented and successful sales professional, combined with his business acumen and deep understanding of the HUman Capital and health management sector, makes him uniquely qualified to lead our overall growth efforts and drive transformational growth within the North American HCP operation.

In May of 2011 Lester joined Healthstat, a leading provider of on site primary care, high health risk intervention and disease management services, as the National Vice President of Sale. At Healthstat, he and his team maintain a relentless pursuit of finding dynamic solutions in order to help employers better the health of their employee population while reducing costs and giving their employees a wonderful employee benefit.

Lester is a graduate of The Florida State University with a Bachelor's of Science in Risk Management and Insurance. He speaks frequently at industry events about on-side clinic, self-funding, wellness, pharmacy carve-pits and other cost mitigation initiatives. In his career Lester has received several industry and community accolades; Tampa Bay Business Journal's "30 under 30," Tampa Bay Times "Rising Stars," Business Buddies "Best in Business- Young Professional of the Year Nomination."

John Sherlock is Senior Vice President of Marketing for Philadelphia Insurance Companies in Bala Cynwyd, PA. (PHLY) Through his executive level relationships with Global Brokers, John develops and implements growth strategies for PHLY which have had an immediate positive impact on both the top and bottom line growth of the organization. In addition, he leads the efforts of Valley Forge Insurance Brokerage (VFIB), a P&C Wholesale operation and subsidiary of PHLY. John redirected the efforts of the staff and redesigned workflow resulting in a 44 percent increase in retained earnings and a 30% increase in top line revenue. He also leads the marketing effort to launch a new Excess & Surplus Lines company, Tokio Marine Specialty Insurance Company. In addition, he is working together with the Executive Team to uncover M&A opportunities which will position the firm for profitable growth using the PHLY platform.
Previously John served as the President of the Mid-Atlantic Region for Chartis Insurance responsible for the leadership of the Property and Casualty operations. John provided strategic and operational direction as well as support to all operating profit-centers in the region. He is responsible for $1.5 billion in written premium and the P&L results in markets which encompass Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Wilmington, DE, Southern New Jersey, Baltimore, Washington, DC and Richmond, VA. John’s objective was to maximize an already formidable footprint by properly aligning products and services with a strong distribution system of national and regional insurance brokers. He led a team of profit center managers; John developed and implemented strategies which enhanced levels of service to policyholders and customers.
A Licensed Property and Casualty insurance broker in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, John has spent over 25 years in the insurance industry. He is active in the Philadelphia community, and has served on the Boards of Directors of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, the YMCA of Philadelphia, World Affairs Council and the Insurance Society of Philadelphia where he serves as Vice Chairman and Chair of the Annual Independence Gala and his leadership resulted in national recognition for the Insurance Society. John is also a member of the National Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) as well as an associate member of the Delaware Valley Chapter of RIMS.
In addition to John’s business interests, he spearheaded an AIG philanthropic relationship with the Starfinder Foundation, a dynamic Philadelphia youth organization utilizing soccer as a vehicle for inner-city children's personal growth and development through leadership, recreation and education. In addition, John works closely with the Philadelphia Children’s Alliance, a not for profit organization which promotes healing and justice for victims of child sexual abuse.
John has 8 brothers and sisters, 37 nieces and nephews and lives in West Chester, PA with his wife of 22 years and their three children where is active in coaching basketball for Catholic Youth Organization. A native of Aldan, Pennsylvania (Delaware County), John attended Monsignor Bonner High School and The United States Naval Academy Prep School and holds a B.S. in Marketing and Finance from Drexel University.

A key member of the Aon Hewitt Corporate Exchange Team, Bill drives innovation in the healthcare marketplace. He serves as a subject expert in the large employer market to help clients develop business and change management strategies and is responsible for overall business development in the eastern U.S. region. After joining Aon Hewitt, Bill was tapped to lead the business relationship with some of our largest national clients before once again asked to be at the forefront of another significant new employee benefit initiative as part of the Corporate Exchange Leadership Team.
With over 30 years of experience as an industry innovator, Bill is known as a consumer-driven healthcare plan (CDHP) thought leader and previously presented on this topic as a Temple University Gamma Iota Sigma guest lecturer a number of years ago.
Bill served on the various teams that developed and marketed the first industry CDHP, Section 125 flexible benefits and group long-term care products. He also co-led the effort to build consumer-driven health care capabilities, served as a public spokesperson and trained the national sales force to help establish CDHP market leadership for a major insurance company.
Bill earned his bachelor’s in business administration from Providence College and his daughter is currently a Temple University student. He serves on the board of directors of the Mary Campbell Center, a home for the multiple handicapped in Wilmington, Delaware and as a team leader for Good Works, an organization in Chester County, Pennsylvania which helps low-income families repair their homes.

Dan is the Vice-President of Actuarial for Independence Blue Cross. He has worked at IBC for over 7 years, initially starting there as the head of the Pricing team. Dan began his career at CIGNA Corporation as an Actuarial Analyst. He worked there for 13 years and held several different positions as he rotated through their Actuarial Executive Development Program. Dan was also a Senior Actuary at Coventry Health Care where he led the actuarial teams for their Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware operations.
Over the past 10 years, his actuarial work has been focused on the healthcare industry, both in the Commercial and Government Markets sectors across the range of actuarial functions: pricing, reserving, trend modeling and forecasting. He is a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Dan is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and was born and raised in Philadelphia. He currently resides in West Chester with his wife, two daughters and grandson. He enjoys playing ice hockey and is an avid reader of mystery and crime novels.

Ms. Schmitt earned her MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and her Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Lebanon Valley College. She is a Chartered Financial Consultant, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Fellow of both the Casualty Actuarial Society and the Canadian Institute of Actuaries. In 2013, Ms. Schmitt received the designation Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA).

Sue Schick is the President of UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Pennsylvania and Chief Executive Officer of UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual of Pennsylvania and Delaware. In her role Sue has executive oversight for all Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Dual Special Needs Plans (DSNP) Medicare, C&S Medicare Advantage as well as commercial products distributed by UnitedHealthcare of Pennsylvania. She joined UnitedHealthcare seven years ago and has over 25 years of leadership experience in the health and employee benefits industry.
Sue is a regular speaker and blogger on the topics of health care, business leadership and philanthropy. She serves on the Governor's Advisory Council on Privatization and Innovation, is chairperson of The Pennsylvania Commission for Women and serves on the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce CEO Council for Growth and is a member of the Insurance Federation of Pennsylvania. She is also actively involved with health related charities, including serving on the Boards of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the March of Dimes and the Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Because of her commitment to the community, Sue recently received two recognitions from SmartCEO Magazine in 2011 – the “Circle of Excellence Award,” which honors Philadelphia business leaders for their philanthropic efforts, and a “Brava! Business Women Achievement Award.” In recognition of her work with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), Sue and UnitedHealthcare will be honored at the JDRF’s annual Promise Ball Gala in the spring of 2013.

Jennifer is a consulting actuary with Gallagher Healthcare Analytics, a division of Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc. She has over 17 years of experience working with large employers on their employee benefit programs.
Prior to joining Gallagher Healthcare Analytics, Jennifer worked with HighRoads, a software solution used by a number of Fortune 500 employers to automate the benefits management lifecycle. The technical solutions knowledge Jennifer gained at HighRoads coupled with the broad health and welfare experience from her prior positions at Watson Wyatt and BCBS of Texas are well suited for her current role with Gallagher Healthcare Analytics.
At Gallagher Healthcare Analytics, Jennifer helps clients determine their plan costs as well as the factors driving their plan costs – administrative leakage, sub-optimal plan utilization or pricing, emerging conditions, etc. She also works with clients on more traditional health and welfare tasks such as benefits strategy, budgeting, rate setting, reserving, etc.
Jennifer’s prior experience includes positions such as Senior Director of Professional Services at HighRoads Inc., Consulting Actuary at Watson Wyatt Worldwide and Actuarial and Financial Analyst at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas. She earned a B.A. in Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Science from the University of Texas and is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) and an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA).
