Senior Vice President of Benefits
The Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church

Pat Haines joined the Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) as Senior Vice President of Benefits in October 2007, bringing significant professional experience in the employee benefits field. In her current role, she has overall responsibility for the design, funding and administration of the Retirement, Death, Disability and Medical Plans for some 50,000 clergy and lay church workers and their families across the country.

Prior to joining the Board of Pensions, she was Senior Vice President and Public Entity Practice Leader for the Employee Benefits Division of Commerce Banc Insurance Services. In her position at Commerce Banc Insurance Services, Pat managed a staff of 18 and supported and advised over 160 public and private sector clients on employee benefits design, funding, and communication matters.

Earlier in her career, she also served in senior benefits executive or consulting positions at CIGNA, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC), and VIRTUA Health. She has a wealth of experience providing strategic advice to both large and small employers on benefits design, funding, and administration.

Pat holds a B.A. from Lafayette College and an M.A. in Human Services from Rowan University. She is a certificated Benefits and Compensation practitioner and member of the International Foundation of Employee Benefits.
